Since the last update in early June there have been almost two dozen changes in the status of various titles with belts changing hands in the ring, being relinquished or stripped, interim titles being won or those men being elevated. And the WBA even eliminated the bridgerweight division. Oleksandr Usyk vacated the WBC, IBF and WBA heavyweight titles; Agit Kabayel was elevated to WBC heavyweight titlist from interim status; Jaron “Boots” Ennis unified the WBO and WBA junior middleweight titles; Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez vacated the WBC, WBO and WBA junior bantamweight titles and won the WBA bantamweight crown; William Zepeda won the vacant WBC lightweight title; Kenshiro Teraji won the vacant WBO junior bantamweight crown; and many more.
