It’s been awhile since I have done an update and there have been numerous changes — more that 50 — in the status of various titles with belts changing hands in the ring, being relinquished or stripped, interim titles being won or those men being elevated. Terence Crawford retired and left the super middleweight belts up for grabs; heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk gave up his undisputed status by vacating the WBO belt; Shakur Stevenson won the lineal/WBO junior welterweight title to claim a belt in a fourth division; Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez unified three junior bantamweight titles; Xander Zayas (junior middleweight) and Emanuel Navarrete (junior lightweight) unified two; up-and-comers Abdullah Mason (WBO lightweight) and Bruce Carrington (WBC featherweight) won titles; Ryan Garcia (WBC) and Devin Haney (WBO) won welterweight titles; Gervonta Davis was made a lightweight “in recess champion” and then given back the WBA title for no apparent reason; Daniel Dubois won the WBO heavyweight title to become a two-time titlist; the WBA continued to vomit out interim belts at an alarming rate; and more.

Here is your complete guide to every male titleholder among the four major sanctioning bodies.
