LAS VEGAS — Our Big Fight Weekend Friday preview podcast is now available!
Co-host TJ Rives and I, of course, preview the Canelo Alvarez-Dmitry Bivol fight that takes place on Saturday (DAZN PPV and PPV.com, 8 p.m. ET) — Cinco de Mayo weekend — at T-Mobile Arena.
In addition to our preview, you can also listen to my exclusive interview with Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn. We discussed the fight and what Canelo’s schedule for his next few fights could look like, including the third fight with Gennadiy Golovkin in September (as long as Canelo beats Bivol), a possible Mexican homecoming or U.K. fight, an undisputed light heavyweight title fight, and maybe even a step up to cruiserweight and then heavyweight to face Oleksandr Usyk.
Eddie and I also discussed the latest on Anthony Joshua’s impending new U.K. TV deal, the outstanding June 25 Matchroom Boxing card that will take place in San Antonio and include four world title fights, the future for Conor Benn, and much more.
Also, TJ interviewed DAZN analyst Sergio Mora, who will be on the call of Canelo-Bivol, so make sure to give it a listen — and also to like and subscribe to our podcast — here:
