Heralded heavyweight prospect Moses Itauma took a major step up in competition and passed the test in explosive fashion.
Itauma, who is just 19, scored two knockdowns in a first-round knockout of Demsey McKean on Saturday in the co-feature of the heavyweight championship rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury on the Riyadh Season card at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Itauma (11-0, 9 KOs), a southpaw from England, who is signed to Frank Warren’s Queensberry Promotions, has all the look of a future champion and he did nothing to detract from that status against McKean.
