AJ is favourite but Dubois is certainly a live contender so hard to pick a winner.

I wonder why Warrington is getting the title shot and not Leigh Wood. Wood vacated his wba 126 belt and said he was moving to 130. He hasn't fought in 2024 yet.

That this will be PPV in the U.S. is exactly why I finally cancelled my DAZN subscription.

Not giving subscribers at least a discount is horrid.

Yes, $40 for "Day of Reckoning" was reasonable. It was an excellent card, but now every Riyadh event is PPV. I'm certainly interested in this Dubois-Joshua card, but the fights are marketed toward the UK, as the 5 x 5 was, which is fine, but recognize the regional market. The 5x5 was $70 for DAZN subscribers in the U.S. and that was the end for me, esp. after Dan and others discovered the $40 "local cable" pricing. My subscription is up in July. At least I'll get the "free" Estrada-Rodriguez this weekend, which is bizarre considering that and the Edwards-Curiel fights are more interesting than any of the fights on the Dubois-Joshua card, except for the headliner.

Wait, if you subscribe to a cable provider you can get these events for $40?

It seems that way, yes. Rafael broke the story during the 5 x 5 event.

What the actual fuck.

I must've missed that. I dont have much interest in X, YouTube or podcasts. I dont remember seeing it on here.

"Muh undisputed" is becoming boring now. If anyone thinks AJ or Dubois are seriously disputing Usyk's claim to the world heavyweight championship because of a forced vacation of an IBF bauble then I don't know what else to say. It's a good fight though, and one I'm looking for. I just won't be paying any attention to the belt.

Joshua Dubois should be a good fight that won’t go the distance, don’t think much of the undercard no big names like Turk does hopefully he is saving things for oct 12th

pre-streaming access I think the undercard would have been seen as "regional" but at this point we have access to all these guys and I think this card is stacked with highly competitive fights. Obviously it's playing to its UK roots, but the Buatsi-Hutchinson winner sits right behind Benavidez as top guy for the winner of Beterbiev-Bivol, Sheeraz is probably the next top 160 guy and this is a solid step up for him, Smith and Kelly make for a typical crossroads fight that is a coin flip, and is Cacace a one hit wonder off his upset of Cordina (in which he was aided by that hit on the break)? Warrington is probably washed up, but he'll make for action. The opener is basically an unbeaten prospect vs an unbeaten 'who knows?' but it's still two guys with 0's. Oh, and the main event should be very entertaining and tense.

Not a huge card for "names" but very solid matchmaking top to bottom, and fights that should make for good action. I'm in!
