Light heavyweight contender Anthony Yarde pounded out a competitive decision victory over British countryman Lyndon Arthur to win their trilogy 2-1 in the co-feature of the Chris Eubank Jr.-Conor Benn Ring magazine DAZN PPV card on Saturday at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
The judges scored it 116-112, 116-112 and 115-113 for Yarde, who won his fourth fight in a row since then-unified champion Artur Beterbiev stopped him in the eighth round of an action-packed fight in January 2023.
In their first fight in December 2020, Arthur won a split decision over Yarde to retain the Commonwealth title. A year later, Yarde exacted revenge when he knocked out Arthur in the fourth round to win the Commonwealth title.
