Two days after Chris Eubank Jr. smashed an egg in the face of Conor Benn during their face off in Manchester, England, at the kickoff news conference for their fight, they met again for the second media event on Thursday at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, where the massively anticipated all-British middleweight showdown will take place on April 26 (DAZN PPV) with a fight against unified super middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez in 2026 a strong possibility for the winner.
This time no sucker punches were thrown at the news conference as they were kept well apart by added security during their face offs on the stadium pitch and later on stage.
But they continued their war of words during the formal program for a fight that will add to the family feud that dates back more than 30 years to when their fathers, Chris Eubank Sr. and Nigel Benn, fought twice in epic middleweight and super middleweight world title fights in 1990 and 1993 that are etched in all-time British boxing lore.
