Turki Alalshikh’s Riyadh Season card in November is shaping up as a big one.
First he announced the news a few days ago that WBO welterweight titlist Brian Norman Jr. would make his third defense against Devin Haney on the show in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia — exact date to be announced.
On Thursday, Alalshikh, who is the chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority and president of the Saudi Boxing Federation, announced two more world title bouts for the card.
WBC light heavyweight titleholder David Benavidez will make his first defense against contender Anthony Yarde.
“‘The Mexican Monster’ David Benavidez will be making his Riyadh Season debut in the month of November, when he defends the WBC light heavyweight world title against dangerous challenger Anthony Yarde,” Alalshikh posted to social media on Thursday.
Also, Abdullah Mason and Sam Noakes will square off for the vacant WBO lightweight title.
