Brian Norman Jr. is ready to climb the ladder toward a world title again.
Looking to shake off losing the WBO welterweight title, Norman will face Josh Wagner in a 10-rounder in the co-feature of the Keyshawn Davis-Nahir Albright rematch that headlines Top Rank’s inaugural event of its DAZN contract on Saturday (8 p.m. ET) at Scope Arena in Davis’ hometown of Norfolk, Virginia.
In November, Norman traveled to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to fight on the David Benavidez-Anthony Yarde undercard.
After knockouts in his first two title defenses, including on the road in Japan, where he crushed Jin Sasaki in the fifth round in the 2025 Fight Freaks Unite knockout of the year, Norman made his third title defense against easily the best opponent of his career in Devin Haney. But the former WBC junior welterweight titlist and undisputed lightweight champion knocked Norman down in the second round and won a unanimous decision — 117-110, 116-111 and 114-113 — to claim a world title in a third division.
Now Norman is set to return and seemingly with a good attitude about what transpired and what is to come.
