A rematch between former undisputed junior welterweight champion Josh Taylor and Jack Catterall, whose 2022 fight resulted in an extremely controversial split decision, has been agreed to and is being finalized, sources told Fight Freaks Unite on Tuesday.
The 12-round nontitle bout, which will be contracted at 140 pounds, will be scheduled for April 27 at First Direct Arena in Leeds, England, the sources said.
Matchroom Boxing will promote the fight, which will stream around the world on DAZN except in the United States, where Taylor promoter Top Rank has the rights and will add it to its ESPN+ schedule.
