There are two shows of note on Saturday, Top Rank’s ESPN+ card headlined by the rematch between WBC junior lightweight titlist Robson Conceicao and former titlist O’Shaquie Foster and Golden Boy’s DAZN card topped by rising lightweight Floyd Schofield against Rene Tellez Giron. We previewed and discussed both. There is also a ton of news of the week and memories on the anniversary of two major cards involving Naseem Hamed and Lennox Lewis.
Here is what’s on the show (in order):
Preview Conceicao-Foster II: What each man has to do differently this time around, what’s out there for the winner, and more. We also looked at the lightweight co-feature, contender Raymond Muratalla versus Jesus Perez.
Preview of Schofield-Giron: How we think it will go, is it a step up for Schofield, more. We also discussed the top two undercard fights, the WBA super middleweight title eliminator between Bektemir Melikuziev and David Stevens and the undisputed women’s flyweight title bout between Gabriela Fundora and Gabriela Celeste Alaniz.
