There is just one notable card this weekend but it’s huge one. It’s a legitimately stacked show on Saturday headlined by pound-for-pound star Terence Crawford moving up to junior middleweight to challenge Israil Madrimov for his WBA title and the vacant WBO interim belt in Los Angeles to go along with a slew of excellent undercard fights. We previewed the card and gave our thoughts on all six pay-per-view bouts. There is also TJ’s interview with Mark Boccardi of PPV.com, which will stream the card and is one of our sponsors; news of the week; and fight anniversaries.
Here is what’s on the show (in order):
Preview of Crawford-Madrimov as well as the tremendous undercard: Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz defending his WBA junior welterweight title against Jose Valenzuela; two notable heavyweight fights — Andy Ruiz-Jarrell Miller and Jared Anderson-Martin Bakole; David Morrell moving up to light heavyweight to face “Hot Rod” Kalajdzic for the vacant WBA “regular” title; and lightweight prospect Andy Cruz against Antonio Moran.
TJ’s interview with Boccardi about the card.
Recap of Matchroom Boxing’s fun-filled mini three-fight card Wednesday night on the Santa Monica Pier topped by junior lightweight prospect Marc Castro’s win over George Acosta.

Listening to the Podcast. It was very noticeable from my vantage point in the stadium, that both Morrell and Kalajdzic silently agreed to keep their fight within the shady area of the ring. Made for a bit of Phone Booth Fight lol. Didn’t get a picture. But I did get to shake Loma’s hand as he left. “Vice President is GOLD, Jerry!” 🤣
