The highlight of the boxing weekend was undoubtedly Sunday’s massive International Boxing Hall of Fame induction ceremonies, which combined the classes of 2020, 2021 and 2022 because the previous two induction weekends were canceled due to the pandemic.
It made for a special ceremony and we discussed the big day that included inductions of legends such as Wladimir Klitschko, Roy Jones Jr., Bernard Hopkins, Floyd Mayweather, Miguel Cotto and many others.
There were also some notable fights, which we discussed as well as what should/could be next for the winners:
Daniel Dubois’ one-sided fourth-round knockout of Trevor Bryan to win the WBA “regular” heavyweight belt.
Jaime Munguia’s poor performance until he finally dropped massive underdog Jimmy Kelly three times in the fifth round for a knockout in their super middleweight fight.
Super middleweight Edgar Berlanga’s decision win over Roamer Alexis Angulo in which he bit him during the seventh round.
Please give it a listen and rate and subscribe as well. Thank you and enjoy!
