Podcast: What's new with promoter, date, site for Canelo-Crawford?

• Recap of heavyweight Dave Allen’s fifth-round knockout of British countryman Johnny Fisher that headlined the Matchroom Boxing card in London.

• Recap WBC mandatory junior middleweight contender Serhii Bohachuk’s 10-round rout of Mykel Fox in a stay-busy middleweight bout that topped a 360 Promotions card in Commerce, California.

• Announcement that Jack Catterall is moving up to welterweight and will face British countryman Harlem Eubank on July 5 (DAZN).

• Announcement that lightweights Andy Cruz and Hironori Mishiro will meet in an IBF title eliminator in the Richardson Hitchins-George Kambosos co-feature on June 14 (DAZN).

• Turki Alalshikh’s announcement on Sunday that SELA will promote Canelo Alvarez-Terence Crawford — not Dana White/TKO as originally announced — with the broadcaster still to be determined for the Sept. 13 fight.

• Jake Paul saying that talks are going on for him and Gervonta Davis to have an exhibition in November even though each has another fight coming up.

• My reporting on Golden Boy having two notable fights in the works, lightweight Floyd Schofield against Tevin Farmer and junior welterweight Kenneth Sims Jr. versus Oscar Duarte.

• The nostalgia segments are available on the YouTube channel, which I hope you will subscribe to as we will be increasing the content. There are three: Memories on the 23rd anniversary of the legendary first fight of the iconic Arturo Gatti-Micky Ward trilogy; happy 69th birthday wishes to the great Sugar Ray Leonard as we discuss his career; and memories on the 35th anniversary of when Pernell Whitaker outpointed fellow Hall of Famer Azumah Nelson to retain the unified lightweight title.
