Oscar De La Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions filed a lawsuit on Friday against Ryan Garcia, its franchise fighter, and his adviser/attorney Guadalupe Valencia in U.S. District Court of Nevada in an effort to have its contract promotional upheld and to stop Valencia from allegedly trying to negotiate with others for Garcia’s next fight when it claims to have those exclusive and valuable rights.
