When Canelo Alvarez defends the undisputed super middleweight title against undisputed junior middleweight champion Jermell Charlo, who is moving up two weight classes, on Saturday (Showtime PPV and PPV.com, $84.99) at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas they will do so with highly respected trainers in their corners.
Alvarez is guided by 2021 Boxing Writers Association of America trainer of the year Eddy Reynoso and Charlo is trained by 2022 BWAA trainer of the year Derrick James.
