There is absolutely no way in hell I would miss the third fight between Canelo & GGG

Plus tons of random thoughts: AJ fought well in loss; preaching Spence-Crawford patience; my take on Pedraza-Commey card; here's who Teofimo should face next; good/bad of undisputed; MUCH MORE

We are just three weeks away from Canelo Alvarez-Gennadiy Golovkin III. Yes, I am excited and I will be in Las Vegas to cover it as I was for their first two epic fights. There’s no way I would miss this one.

However, some say GGG is too old and that Canelo will wipe him out this time. I don’t buy it. Golovkin has never been in serious trouble or dropped much less wiped out. He has an all-time great chin. He has one razor-close majority decision loss to Canelo in their rematch that could have easily been a draw or gone his way. And even though GGG is now 40, he has always been in tremendous shape.

Those who say they’re not interested in the fight, I guess they don’t really like boxing. Here are just four reasons why I can’t wait:

1. It’s the trilogy fight in one of the most intense recent rivalries in boxing that has already produced two classic battles.

2. It’s for huge stakes — Alvarez’s undisputed super middleweight title.

3. It matches a pair of historic fighters and future first-ballot Hall of Famers.

4. It’s a fight that surely will produce action like their first two did.

5. It could be GGG’s final fight, win or lose.

I know Anthony Joshua lost a decision to Oleksandr Usyk in their unified heavyweight title rematch but I thought AJ fought one of the best fights of his career. He was in good shape and his new trainer, Robert Garcia, seemed to have the right
