Jermell Charlo isn’t getting any younger and has nothing left to prove at 154. Why should he give Tszyu a shortcut to “Undisputed”? For the belts he worked so hard to collect. Move up to 160 instead. And become “Undisputed” again. I’d favor Jermell over anyone at 160. Jermall isn’t just holding the WBC MW Title hostage. He’s messing up his brother’s legacy.

Tim Tszyu was sharp, accurate and applied pressure at his perfect counter punching range which took Harrison’s right hand away. Tim Tszyu has great fundamentals ( critics say he’s just basic), however his active high guard and counterpunching skills with both hands paired with his speed, power & IQ make him a formidable challenge for Jermell Charlo. I can’t wait to see Charlo vs Tszyu. I bet Tim Tszyu will be even better by the time they square off!

Nice performance by Tim. I thought he was in for a tough night. This makes the Charlo fight look interesting. I kind of hope he surprises me and beats Charlo.

Was glad to see justice served in the Yoka fight; was nervous Takam would get jobbed, and one judge certainly tried! Takam vs Jared Anderson would be a great measuring stick for Big Baby, and no cakewalk. Hopefully that or a Bakole fight (and good payday) could be next for Takam.

Tszyu is strong and last night undoubtedly helped his confidence, and we've seen Charlo prone to lapses (Castano had him in trouble, etc), so there's a chance, but Tim is also lacking dimensions and my pick is Jermell to take him out late.

Pacheco is a fun fighter who passed a good test in Cullen, and shouldn't be rushed, as he's got some learning to do. But lots of upside and I hope to see him step it up gradually this year.

I'm sure Jack Cullen was chosen as an opponent for Diego Pacheco simply because he's of a similar height. IMO this wouldn't have been a competitive fight even back in 2019 when Cullen was fresh and coming through the ranks - but before he was KOd by Felix Cash.

What the hell was Hearn doing in making this match-up now when Jack is clearly well past his best and so obviously not on Pacheco's level?

Jack's a brave kid but he wasn't a suitable opponent for Pacheco - I'm only glad Jack wasn't badly hurt.

Yoka is a Joka he will have to start calling himself that from now on " Yoka the Joka"not exactly an entertaining fight but a fight that showed who was who and who is not much of anything. The Patch fight was nice bit one sided but on the good side of one sided in that Patch kept on rolling and proving he is someone who could be something special as time rolls on. It is still too early to project how far he may go but yes he has born into skills and talents that are going to be nice to watch develop in the Ring. Min Level weekend of friday night fights on a Saturday thru out the day. Good bye DAZN not going to see much more of you not worth the money or the time just time to move away from that station. They sure did not live up to there billing. And now there bill is too high to pay. Lets not forget what they thought they were going to be and what they actually turned out to not be. Hey Eddie go fuck yourself you lyin cheatin carnival barker. Stay in the UK or some hole you now call home.

Dan I am proud Australian tonight on paper it looked like tszyus toughest fight and he fought the best fight of his career so far, when the fight was to happen in jan I didn’t think he could win against Charlo but now he is a chance to be a great fighter you have to beat a great fighter and that is Charlo, dan you don’t how big an event it was here a few yrs ago boxing was nearly dead but along came tim tszyu and he bought the casual fight fans back to boxing for this fight

I don’t understand how so many writers, etc. in the American media had Tszyu winning such a lopsided fight on the cards. Yes, he landed the harder punches, but he went for long stretches without landing much. I saw Harrison working the jab, mixing in body shots and hooks, and routinely snapping Tszyu’s head back. I had it 77-75 for Tszyu too. I also saw Harrison look shaky at times after eating hooks and right hands, but Harrison would stand his ground and fight Tszyu in the pocket in round 8 or 9. I like Harrison and think he’s a tough dude, but he fades hard after 9. It was a close fight at the time of the stoppage IMO. Charlo gonna KO Tszyu inside 8.

I get how people would score the fight the way you did last night Mark. Neither guy was in fight of the year last night not even close. Tsz got the win but at no time to he look spectacular to me in the ring. Looked more ordinary then ever, did he improve or win without a doubt sure. Now look at Harris he did just enough to stay in there for the rounds jab jab jab not much following that. it was an interesting fight bc what comes next for both men. It showed exactly what they are and are not. Not that Charlot is some king of kings in the ring to my eyes, but it sets up the fight most promoters and fans wanted to happen next. It feels like they had this fight so they could have the next fight the Charlot Bout which to me is a mid level fight at best. But others may disagree with that, and i hope i am wrong i hope they war at each other hope they fight the fight of there lives, damn near kill each other and hate so bad the blood will flow. I can only hope.

John, I thought Harrison, as in the second Charlo fight, was winning rounds with the jab and activity.

I see what you are saying, how many rounds is not far off from what the judges saw. I did not sit and score it bc i would not have enjoyed it as much as just watching. Will not go back and score it unless some fool wants to pay me to do it. Harris needed to follow the jab with more activity, Tsz activity was not that accurate where as Harris when he used more then a jab was more accurate. Even when Tsz had Harris hurt he was not very accurate. Are his hands heavy? Still not sure if he is heavy handed as in other fighters like Patch was yesterday his hands are a bit more heavy and more accurate. Harriss was spot on about Txz being given some breaks on his way to the top. But he did not prove that he was better then Tsz in the ring. Also Mark the was TSZ acted in the ring with the Mother this about remember his name stuff seemed a bit manufactured to say the least a bit rehearsed to my ears. Did his father speak that way ? No not at all just putting that out there. Shows his immaturity and his lack of confidence as a fighter --That is how i see it.
