The Beterbiev fight was the kind you don’t want your wife walking into the middle of. Big cuts gushing blood. Not dangerous particularly, but damned gory.
I was going to watch the Jake Paul fight tonight but I see there are some I Love Lucy reruns….
- derrick james was ready to take credit for a win with his "only trainer in history" unified titles nonsense; has he stepped up to take any blame for the loss? his fighter pretty quickly did the one thing you don't do with 'beef': go to the ropes; any comments from the esteemed trainer on his preparation of his fighter?
- i see j'leon love is back.... and as a cruiserweight! i'm sure that will play out very well for him.
- the savage babic is back today! can't wait to see him in action (and it is always "action"). check out the image of the dude he's fighting on boxrec; his headshot is that of an entry level real estate broker.
- the lamont roach- rene alvarado fight on the zurdo card could steal the show. both are fighting for their careers as top contenders... should be fun.
- is anybody really gonna watch that fox card? poor dan probably has to, but pbc has once again made it clear that the relationship they value the least is the one with the largest platform. truly mind boggling.
If you did not find anything to like about boxing over this weekend combined with last weekend well time to put the Golf channel on Jezz they unloaded some fights on the sets this past 14 days. Yea some were not the best matches but still a lot to like. 3:00 AM for Monday - Tuesday card is that right ?
