I don’t know why DAZN has chosen to hit US subscribers so hard.
I don’t know if US subscribers get sports that European & Asian subscribers don’t get - if not the increase seems unjustifiable.
The subscription went up in the UK but it was minuscule compared to the rise in the US. I chose the cheapest option and paid only £99 for an annual subscription.
In addition the Canelo vs Ryder fight wasn’t ppv in the UK - sorry please don’t shoot the messenger!
It would be interesting if you could email DAZN customer service and ask them to justify the rise in the US subscription. I’m sure we would all like to know what they say.
Dan, why is this fight PPV? DAZN just increased my annual subscription fee 125% and I need to pay more to watch this fight, Canelo defending the title against a contender? Boxing TV abuses its fans.
I feel the same way. I was a little happier when I saw that being a DAZN subscriber got me a $20 discount. Still it was a big increase.
