This had to be one of the most boring three-knockdown fights ever. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen every Conlan fight that’s aired on U.S. tv to date, but at this point, I think I’m done with this guy. Irish Rigondeaux.
Okay, perhaps comparing dude to El Chacal takes things a little too far. Maybe I was just still feeling salty about the DAZN price hike announcement (see my previous grumbling in this space). Not to mention the garbage decision the judges turned in on the co-feature on this card. That said, I’m still putting Conlan in a hopper with guys like Marc Castro who’ve never lived up to the hype.
I hear you Tron - as far as Colon goes the fight stunk as expected. And if it were just one card once in a while that would be fine but trust me this Summer was nothing but a set up for there PPVs coming up the next few months. Starve the fight fans of any meaningful fights, throw junk out there and trash bellow it then......... Up the price of the junk they are putting out there. And begin the big push for PPV fights. Really its a PPV App on DAZN and piggy back there PPV cards that should be as advertised kept on there subscription App._ Showtime is not free but they put out some good fights and the biggest offender ESPN PLUS( (more you want more garbage certainly Sir I give you more garbage but it will cost you))).................
