They haven’t fought in a year, or once in a year and a half in Ellis’s case, and when they do fight it’s against nobodies. This generation of boxers sucks.
I just want to thank all those involved in making these cards possible for those of us who know that you know better then us on how to use your unique "match making skills" and PPV attractions available to those who are unable to pull themselves away from the fight game. I only hope that I may be allowed to pay twice the asking price for this DC attraction and the many others that will be coming down the pike as the weeks and months go passing by. Maybe I could just have a large percentage of my payroll checks sent directly to the boxing promoters and platforms involved so that they may do with my money as they please.................
All you can do is laugh anymore ....................
Andrade wants to be a 3 division champ but sabotaged his own fight for a vacant belt against Parker to start fighting 3-deep on undercards against guys not in the top 30? Another reason to not pay for this crap.
Speedy Ellis vs Boots woulda been a rock solid co main. Maybe someday as a Showtime Main Event. Not really excited about paying $75 for this card as is. Definitely gonna be a last minute nothing else going on purchase for me, maybe. PPV should be reserved for Fight Party Level Fights.
PBC will never again put an A-level (by boxing's standards) fighter on a show that isn't PPV. This is their new brand, as evidenced not only by everything they did last year, but by announcing Benavidez-Plant as a PPV. Already 2023 has Tank-H. Garcia, (hopefully) Tank-R. Garcia, Benavidez-Plant, Wilder-Ruiz, Spence-(probably)Thurman, and whatever else I'm forgetting for PBC PPV, probably all by April.
It's a farce and it is killing these guy's profiles.
A great fight for a fight hungry town, and a short drive for Dan lol. Kidding aside, this is a very serious fight for Tank, why he would risk a massive payday against Garcia is anyone’s guess, but the fans win. Boots and Andrade add to the intrigue, this is a PPV card in this day and age, and it will sell like crazy in DC/Va/DC
