If you expected higher numbers you dont know much about the business. That is an excellent number against a unknown opponent with zero profile or accomplishment.

I was too, a bit disappointing...

Dan, do you have the numbers from the other 2 ppvs? I'm sorry if I missed them but I don't remember seeing them. I ask because I wonder if this is selective leaking because the other 2 didn't deliver.

Lots of boxing fans get stuck on how much a PPV sold. When in reality, the only thing that matters is: does the revenue generated cover the costs of the event? PPV numbers are the main - but not only - source of revenue. Live gate, sponsors, international broadcasting rights, etc also factor in.

As long as the top line number covers the expenses, it was a financial success. Not knowing guaranteed purses + expenses makes it difficult to accurately assess.

I thought the numbers were reasonable

Dan, In your opinion, does this meet expectations of the promoter? From a money standpoint, I couldn't blame Tank for giving Garcia a rematch even though I have no interest in that fight.

Really solid numbers. Even with piracy being what it is today, given that Tank did these #'s with The Ghost, I'd like to think Tank/Loma would easily exceed 500k buys.

Wondering what kind of $$$ pay-per-view numbers Loma vs Tank would generate?

I was expecting the co-main event to help with numbers, not just Tank/Frank πŸ€·πŸΎβ€β™‚οΈ
