We all know 'mental fitness' is one of the biggest assets a fighter carries into the ring with him/her for a fight. I, like Dan, believe this fight will still happen since the sentencing is AFTER the date of the showdown with Garcia. The questions is, "Will Tank be ready to fight at 100% against Garcia mentally?" Garcia is not to be taken lightly although he is the underdog. But really, IS HE the underdog? Garcia and Goosen evidently see something favorable for Ryan G......and I know lots of what they see is the CASH this fight will bring.............because it will! IF at anytime ....there is a time fo fight TANK......it is now. I say the fight is 50/50 for many obvious reasons. Keep punching Dan in bringing in all the news.

I don’t think Davis has fought anyone with the kind of speed that Ryan Garcia has, this will be a test for him in the ring. Getting past his bad behavior out of the ring and learning how to be a good person is going to be the bigger test, but anyone who has dedicated himself to something the way Davis has has the will power to become a better person.

Even though Davis isn’t facing jail time you have to wonder how all of these outside distractions ,that have to be stressful ,will affect him against Garcia.

I’ve seen it many time in boxing , these bad decisions show up in the ring. I feel Ryan will have an edge for victory

Mosbey the Sates Attorney is not longer in office. She has been giving everyone a free pass those days are fading in Baltimore City. It may not stop all the killings but new sheriff in town now boys. Time to put away your toys (car) toss aside your guns. And let me say this look at the boxing records of fighters who come out of jail and how they do in the ring as opososed to those that pick up the skills of fighting while doing time. Exampe Tyson. They tend to fail after doing some time. Now i admit that time served in jail is not the same as in prison. Still G.Davis may spend some time in a cell. If so it is out of stupidity. And if he wants that on his resume he might just wish to regret it.

Distractions ? I respect you looking at it from a purely boxing angle but come on man. The woman was pregnant did i read that correctly? Lives were ruined or effected in a way that could have been avoided or made to turn out better, but he ran he took the choice now let him pay the price.

I’m not saying he doesn’t deserve jail time, he does 💯. It’s disgusting that he hit a woman and unforgivable if she was pregnant.

Don’t be surprised if he gets stopped, in his mind (even subconsciously)he won’t think he deserves to win because of this big mess he’s facing.

Some guys there only escape is when they are back in the ring. Escape from what actually brought them there in the first place. I am convienced that there are men who are in prison or jail who would have stayed successful in the ring had they not been sentenced to a term. Although time spent in a cell can ruin a fighter, it can ruin any man or it can rehabilitate him. The start to rehab is not the time spent alone but what it does for or to an individual. Then some just pick up skills while incarcerated n realize they can jail and make it a way of life. Others get out and turn there lives around completely. But what do i know.

Davis is 100% facing jail time. Acting like a thug and coward outside of the ring does not engender any respect from me, but I still want to see him fight Garcia. You can only hope that he will be able to grow from this experience and become a better person.

Maybe some jail time will do Tank some good and allow him to get his shit together.

Causing the crash and then not helping a pregnant woman, who was trapped by the accident, was a despicable thing to do - imo he definitely deserves jail time.

change of subjest OZZy DAZN is upping there price more then double to 230 dollars a year Who is going to pay for that. As a whole sport and esp boxing is out of touch with the fight fan or sport fan. Sure they will get it from those with deep pockets or those who get it by giving free publicity for a foxing app. So now what ? Are we supposed to hear about a fight from some third party app or forum to find out who did what in the ring ? Are we to rely on some writer or podcaster to tell us who is up and coming. ? Give me a break DAZN is not the greatest but neither is ESPN Plus or Showtime they put out a product that is just OK at best and not anything to get too excited about most times. It is a shift in sport a very big one. Take it light Ozz see you on the other side.

Yeah that's a BIG rise in subscription John - I didn't realise that they had increased by that amount. Like you say, most fans won't be able to pay that.

Doesn't look good for boxing in the US - it seems that boxing fans in the US are constantly being asked to pay more and more.

I thought DAZN was a good thing when they first started, however looks like they're just as bad as the rest.

We should see this fight now if I was Davis I would not be asking for a rematch because he will be spending the rest of the year in jail
