He came DW with a solid name, he looked at a contract not the money or the promoters or anything but the law that was his job. Did he not do his job? I would like to know if he was a set up or a guy who was asked to do his job and did it? Not picking just asking.
You're right. Weinstein did his job, looked at the contract from a legal standpoint, made a decision. I'm not really arguing with that, and I can't see the contract to verify anything anyway. I'm just voicing frustration as a BOXING FAN, which I think we need more BOXING FANS to do more often right now.
We need less sympathy for and commiseration with the power brokers and networks and fighters BUILDING their effing BRANDS. Fans should be pissed about this because it's the fight everyone wants to see right now, and we all want an undisputed champ.
That said, I'm totally in favor of a third fight between Fury and Wilder at some point, and I think Wilder has a shot. It's just not the fight anyone wants RIGHT NOW.
I hear you on the part of the fight being cancelled it hurt a lot of fight fans and that is just wrong on all points. All of us who enjoy fights and have supported fights have to put up with more garbage then any other sport fan. I was not picking at you but I read some things on the guy who made the ruling and he seems to have a good record not a guy who was paid to destroy what a lot of fight fans were hyped for. Now who and how that happened goes deep into boxing and how it plays out. Be it refs, judges, promoters, the list goes on. That is the part of boxing that I would like to have a light shown on. My take has always been the fight fan is the driver of boxing. We are the ones who should have a lot more say. I better stop. Hey it was not personal to you just felt that sometimes social can get after a guy doing his job when behind the scenes there are a lot of slimy stuff going on. Nothing personal at you............ Follow me ?
Thank you, Daniel Weinstein, for effing up the heavyweight division and boxing.

All good. I didn't take it personally. You made a valid point.
Also, I'm not really interested in Joshua-Usyk. Is anyone?
Not sure what Wilder brings to the table. But the right hand??? Woooo!
Piss up in brewery comes to mind...
I like both fighters but let's hope the Trilogy ends once and for all.
