Let's see if the younger Russell brother is as good as his bigger brother, lets just hope he fights more than he does.

There were moments in the Figueroa fight when they both were just taking turns hitting each other, just swinging away. Defensive responsibility was very low priority for either fighter.

It was a good card top to bottom to my eyes. Roman showed what a talent he is after a close lose to AK - then showed his skills thru out the fight positioning, crisp punches stamina solid fighter. Fig I did not believe he would win and in spite of things I still see him do he keeps winning am I sold no but I am more interested in seeing how far he takes it with Fulton now. That body shot did not see that coming either did Nery -Nice to be surprised in the fight game - Burgos gave it his all enjoyed the show thanks for the write up.

“Our bloodline is strong. I’m among a bloodline of royalty." Jeeeesus seems all of the Russell family have delusions of grandeur.

I remember seeing Gary Antuanne get totally out-boxed in Miami by Pat McCormack in his amateur days (WSB - US vs GB).

He's got decent foundations but he'll need to have improved beyond all recognition from his amateur days for him to end up being a world champion like his brother.

That light heavy is yesterday is good. The cards were great. Nice having spectators. Even watching golf spectators make a huge difference. If puts you there while watching. So many match ups to be made for great fights. Let's hope they don't follow the Canelo or Spence/Crawford ways of making or not making the matches. Thanks for the great writings as always Mr. Rafael.
