My takeaways:

- Fundora is a tough out for anyone, even though he does everything to make himself beatable.

-Adames hasn’t really improved so much as reminded everyone of Montiel’s limitations. Charlo got himself a relatively safe mandatory

- I know Ancajas makes for fast pace fights but I hate his style and am glad he’s being relegated to off-TV fights from here (presumably)

As for Jack Reiss, not sure what that was about but he’s been a solid ref in the past (if a little curmudgeonly) and I hope the CA commission makes him watch the fight with them and explain his tantrums.

I don’t think I’ve seen a ref request to the commission that a corner be fined...have you? Is it common/within the ref’s purview?

What the hell was wrong with Jack Reiss? Seemed to be in a really bad temper. IMO there was no real need to threaten Ocampo with stopping the bout at the end of the 8th and as Ocampo didn't spill the water in the corner between the 10th and 11th it was rather brutal to tell the commission reps that he wanted Ocampo fined. Water is spilled all the time in the corners during fights it's difficult to prove that such spillages were done deliberately.

When you consider the physical advantages that Fundora possesses I think Ocampo did as well as could be expected - although obviously Jack Reiss wouldn't agree.

I have to say that Seb Fundora's career shows how trusting boxing fans are. He's 6'6", and repeatedly makes the 11 stone limit, seemingly with ease, then after rehydration seems to be as strong as an Ox and yet not a single boxing fan appears to bat an eyelid - not a single query asking how Fundora is able to do this.

Have the promoters and fighters frankly and fully answered the "Benn" question - that is, withholding positive drug test results from the public?
