It's no good Hearn appealing to the WBC based on their so called rules and regulations.
For example in section 1.1 of the WBC rules it states....
"The WBC shall have sole authority and discretion to interpret these Rules & Regulations."
and in section 1.2 ...
"....the WBC President and Presidency, in consultation with the WBC Board of Governors and with the WBC Chief Legal Counsel, has full power and authority to interpret these Rules & Regulations, and to issue and apply such rulings as he shall in his sole discretion deem to be in the best interests of boxing."
So in reality there are no enforceable WBC rules except what Sulaiman & Co., decide they want at any particular time - I'm sure the WBO, as well as the IBF & WBA, rules and regulations are just as pointless.
