So, here’s the real question about the Hrgovic-Zhang fight: Was it a “slobberknocker?” Immediately after the fight, I would’ve said no. But after watching Usyk and AJ show skill at the highest level, the co-feature looks in hindsight more like the Chisora-Pulev scrap.
I thought Zhang and Rivera deserved to get the decisions in their fights but for some reason the bigger names of Hrgovic and Jack were given the wins.
Callum Smith was wise not to leave things to the judges and showed that he's clearly carried his power up to light heavyweight.
Eddie Hearn mentioned bringing Beterbiev to Anfield next year to fight Smith - however I suspect that Artur will turn down fighting at Anfield - just as Canelo did.
