Saunders trying to pull the same mind games as his mate Tyson Fury.

No doubt he'll complain about something else before Saturday.

I don’t think Canelo is particularly susceptible to mind games.

Aye you’re probably right - however I didn’t think Wlad was before the Tyson Fury fight.

Glad to see a unification match and hope someday for a Alvarez and Golovkin third match.

WoW glad you are getting back to the live shows we need live eye's to tell the truth of what happens in the ring not the announcers they use anymore. Plus you get to witness and report on the biggest upset of this year......(wouldnt that be something) ah that would shake up the system for sure. Wish I had some hope but all I got is hope BJS mixes it up for a few rounds poss around round 3-4.... And keep an eye on Soto he is on this card also if I remember correct. Soto - Heno was real close and Acosta was a 12th round two second call if I recall that correctly.

You are the best writer our sport has. I wish I could keep up with every word, but you’re too prolific. Thanks Dan

Great to have you back Dan . You are the best by far and your perceptive insight is always valuable and enjoyable. Were it a battle of mouths I don't know many who would defeat Saunders but frankly to me he sounds like he sees the handwriting on the wall , can't back out and is in a full blown panic. Maybe that's a good thing and the desperation will force the best out of him but I see Canelo KO within six.

What the heck is up with Showtime and Boxing?

Expand full comment

What do you mean? Showtime announced 9 shows a few weeks ago and has a very nice schedule coming up.

Totally forgot that! I just reread the schedule. My bad. Yes some big names in there. Any particular fights that jump out at you? I mean besides the rigondoze fight. I know he’s a personal favorite : )

Joshua Buatsi may be facing an unbeaten opponent but when you delve deeper you find that almost all of Dos Santos' opponents have a losing record.

Dos Santos has obviously been picked so Josh can try to show some of the stuff he's been working on with new trainer Virgil Hunter.
