The Monster is a intelligent boxer with power- his style the way he carries himself inside and outside the ring is rare these days in boxing. Yea he is hell of figher too. Fulton had trouble with Fig the last he fought him to the point when a rematch was needed to actually decide who was the better man in the ring. But it did not happen bc The Monster needs to show himself in the ring at a new weight, which is a natural increase in size not some phony run away n hide from the contenders in the 118 weight class.

As I said Fulton had trouble with Fig in his last fight, and look at Fig in his last fight saturday night. He was not impressive to me, he always looks like he could and should do better. yet and still Fulton did poorly against Fig. That shows how well Inoue will do against Fulton, just the facts man just the facts. Good fight for the monster bad idea for Fulton and i am glad of that.

Great news. I love both of these guys. I’m leaning Fulton. Underrated, Philly, mobile, with enough speed and pop to make Inoue have to reset.

This fight reminds me of another fight between an underrated Philly champ against a rising destructive force whom everyone picked to dethrone the champ. That fight happened in the wake of 9/11 at MSG and remains a classic example of ring generalship and intelligence overcoming youth and power. I picked the Philly champ for that fight and will do so again for this one.

Dan, first - I cannot wait for this fight. Such an interesting style match-up. Should be great.

Also, friendly reminder about our video chat, from my founders membership I purchased last year.

And last thing - did you see Creed III yet? I saw it this past weekend. Liked it, but did not love it. Curious to hear your thoughts. Thanks Dan, and looking forward to chatting!

I got Inoue, he's proven himself as an elite fighter whilst Fulton has shown himself so far to be a very good fighter but i wouldn't say elite.

Whats not to like. This is about as good a match up as you can hope amongst the lighter divisions. This is a fight to look forward to.

Credit to both fighters for agreeing to fight each other straight away, with none of the bullshit that's afflicted other possible big fights lately eg: Crawford vs Spence, Fury vs Usyk etc.

One thing I don't like is the possibility of UK boxing fans not seeing the fight on TV - the only fight shown live from Japan over the past decade was the Inoue vs Donaire WBSS final.

I hope the various suits have some common sense and show the Inoue vs Fulton fight live - won't be holding me breath on that one though.

As for the fight, I also slightly favour Fulton who has a very good defence and is fast enough and strong enough to really test Inoue.

Naoya will certainly have to fight better than he did against Butler if he wants to beat Fulton.

This should be a GREAT fight and I cannot wait to see it. Inoue is considered a great P4P fighter and should come out on top if this measure of his talent and skill is accurate, but at this level there are no guarantees and Philly Fulton will be a difficult nut to crack. A true test of the “Monster’s” greatness and a fantastic opportunity for Fulton to take a huge step forward on the international stage.
