As far as fights go on the card although Lara won and won decissively it was not my pick of the night as far as what happened in the ring. Fierro v Cuevas was the fight of the week end for me. Sanman is over 40 years old and his display of skills and choice of tactics left a lot to be wondered about like where is he along the lines of a real threat to Lara, not Lara's fault as far as opponents go, Lara would rather take Warrington apart again and make him pay for that head but......But as far as the weekend fight card goes there was more to it in the ring and possible fight scenerios with the Fierro v fight then the Lara in the long run and for boxing pleasure. I will rewatch again and check it see if I missed anyting. K. O's are nice but just as the Wilder PPV knock out was no surprise to the point I never ordered it, so was this Lara v bout a bit one sided .....Along those lines did Dan even mention the Fierro v Cuevas fight in his Podcast ? I did not hear him talk it up, did anyone else ? Hey I drift during podcasts just how it is but dont recall him saying anything on the fight just wondering......
Yes, it was another impressive win for Lara and I’m also looking forward to seeing him in bigger fights next year, but is it known why he did not enroll in the VADA clean boxing program?
Lara the most deserving champ with no belt. IMO he’s the best 126er right now. Even looking better than Navarrete, please boxing gods find a way to make navarette vs lara🙏🏻
agreed and i love Navarrete with his unorthodox style. I just feel Lara vs Navarrete would be a modern day Morales vs Barrera! real boxing fans are due/deserve for a throwback war!!
I thought Lara would win decisively as Sanmartin is tough but pretty easy to hit - he also seemed smaller than Lara.
Lara has been very unlucky over the past 18 months or so.
I think he should take on the winner of LSC vs Wood next year.
I’m not happy to hear that Lara seems to hate Warrington - they seemed to have respect for each other in their first two fights.
I prefer boxers to be professional and respectful however I can understand why Mauricio feels hard done by.
Hopefully next year he will get the opportunities he deserves.

Navarrete would be too much for Lara. It's a tough fight.

Now you're talking, but unfortunately for us, I think Navarrete will be moving up to 130lbs. I hope not. But that's what is looking like now.
