Navarrete drops Conceicao twice, retains 130 title in all-action draw
Both fighters call for a rematch after thrilling battle

Emanuel Navarrete kept landing big punches, even scoring two critical knockdowns, and Robson Conceicao, who isn’t as big of a puncher, landed many more blows and showed enormous heart in their all-out battle on Thursday night.
The result was a majority draw few could argue with as Navarrete retained the WBO junior lightweight title for the second time at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, where the fight served as the co-feature to Shakur Stevenson’s decision win over Edwin De Los Santos to win the vacant WBC lightweight title on the Top Rank Boxing on ESPN card.
Navarrete won 114-112 on judge Don Trella’s scorecard while judges Chris Flores and Max DeLuca scored the hard-fought battle 113-113 and left both combatants interested in a rematch.
