Looking at these cards of up and comers makes me realize that they have to fight the best to get to the best. But when the best get there, and no longer fight the best, while in their primes, no matter how great they are, like Canelo, Mayweather, now Crawford and Spence, they are not great, DURAN, LEONARD, HEARNS, HOYA, MOSLEY, HAGLER, LARRY HOLMES, MARQUEZ, BARREARA, etc. These guys are great, they fought the best.

Ahhhh, when fighters actually wanted to be the best by beating the best in their primes. So sad when really star quality do not. They are not fulling me. That's for sure. I remember in the mid 70s ABC televised four championship fights from different venues. Man, that was my introduction into great boxing. Whooosh. What a night that was. On black and white TV too. I am 6 wa and I was 15 then.

I have no time for David McWater no matter what he's won in 2020.

In 2019 McWater withdrew Baranchyk and later Prograis from the WBSS tournament, supposedly about money payments, but really they were attempts to stop Baranchyk & Prograis from fighting in the UK as the 140lb tournament draw dictated.

Both attempts almost spoiled the tournament - it was just lucky that the Comosa AG contracts were water-tight or the tournament would have been screwed.

McWater no longer manages Prograis - he changed to Sam Katkovski when he bought out his promotional contract from DiBella and went with PBC.

Doh! Apologies - I believe DiBella was involved in both cases.
