Wild how he fought with a broken jaw. Tough as nails.

Why are terms never released when a promoter signs a fighter? All other sports give year and dollar amount on contracts but in boxing it is always "X Promoters announced he has signed Y fighter, to a multi-fight promotional deal." Details are always vague. Be the first writer to dish all of the details!

Amazing that Bam went 6 rounds with a broken jaw - the kid must be made out of iron.

Unless the treatment for broken jaws has changed over the past 48 years (I was 13) he'll now have wires fitted to hold his jaw in the correct position while the bones grow and reconnect over the broken area.

Over the next 8 - 10 weeks he'll only be able to drink through a straw stuff like soup, melted ice cream, protein drinks and of course beer - if he's like me he'll probably get sick of the same stuff, except for the beer. Then he'll have the wires removed - I hope everything goes well for him and there's no complications.

I think it'll be around 4 or 5 months (from now) until he'll be able to spar again. His next fight may be at the end of the year or possibly early next year.
