I actually quite enjoy listening to drunk guys talk about fighting.

Benevidez has nothing to apologize for, he doesn't have a fight scheduled, he was there to support his bro and DAZN decided to ask him about work. Any of you guys have a few drinks on your nights off? He was wasted, obviously, but he didn't say anything embarrassing or act a fool, I don't even remember that he cursed. Breaking news: grown man has a few drinks. Don't we have bigger things to worry about in boxing?

Dont think anyone has a problem with him having a few drinks but he made himself look stupid by going on TV and doing the interview. DAZN is also to blame because a producer should have noticed that before having him be interviewed.

It’s not that he was drunk, it’s that he sounded like an idiot on live TV. He was definitely embarrassed, as anyone else would be.

I've read he's in camp for his WBC 175 interim title fight. Fine to drink and support a friend. Bad look given his history if he is indeed in camp.

It'll be good to see Stanionis back In the ring. Got caught up in the Vergil Ortiz vortex.

All those 'interim' and 'regular' titles is a huge facepalm. Glad to see Stanionis will finally return though, stepping aside to allow Spence - Ugas nearly three years ago turned out to be a huge error on his part.
