At some point MJ needs to get his mandatory shot. It's ridiculous. Can't help the Goodman cut and postponement. But the April flight in the U.S. is already lined up for Inoue to defend against another ranked nobody.

Inoue has avoided MJ, his mandatory, TWICE already. It's OVERDUE. And, he's literally the best opponent remaining in his division. Stop avoiding MJ already.

The universe is speaking to Inoue. Cut the “Marination”, and let’s just get to the Junto Nakatani Mega-Fight! Top Rank and Grandpa Bob knows lol 👨🏻‍🍳👺🎌

Nonsense. It's not marinating. Timing is important. Later this year at the giant stadium. Nakatani not even in his division yet.

It was meant to be a bit cheeky. Though my impatience stands lol.

MJ is fine and a solid fight. But no one outside of the Twitter bubble really cares. MJ winning two fights in a row, after losing to a very pedestrian Marlon Tapales, is hardly a mandate. On the other hand. Inoue vs Nakatani could be the super bantamweight version of Leonard vs Hearns 🔥🎌

Cool, if he doesn't care about MJ, drop the belt. Simple. What we're not going to do is act like 1 competitive loss is enough to disregard the #2 opponent in the division, who was also a former unified champ.

MJ has the interim WBA 122-pound title. He was already the mandatory challenger to Inoue's full version of the belt. The bout was twice ordered by the WBA and even sent to a purse bid at one point. However, the sanctioning body granted exceptions to Inoue to instead face TJ Doheny in a voluntary defense and now IBF mandatory Sam Goodman. Times up.
