Boxing needs a financial review. Cost of living is increasing throughout the world, with many feeling the pinch, yet the number of paid subscriptions seems endless. Individually, they're only the price of a few cups of coffee, but add them up, combine with Netflix/Amazon for the missus, Disney for the kids, etc. these become sizeable. And that's just for tv!
I've always found US gate ticket and PPV prices incredibly high. I wonder how many bought the $80 version of Bivol/Alvarez. I love the sport, but I wouldn't pay that.
Very true Dan, the fans could contribute to Boxing in a big way by organizing and boycott a fight or two. That is all it would take to get the attention and concessions from the promoters it is still about money to them no matter how much they may or may not enjoy a boxing match. But getting people to agree or take a organized stand is not in the cards right now. It is a fact though Fight Fans have all the leverage here but not the willingness to follow thru. More is the pity........

It’s up to individuals to make better choices. If no one pays there will be a reprice.
