I don’t believe Porter brings out the best in anyone : ) He’s a spoiler and and grappler and a disrupter of well laid plans. Porter fights an ugly fight, and is damned good at. It’s going to be very interesting to see how Bud deals with his uber aggressiveness. It’s gonna be an interesting fight for sure!!

What has happened to Crawford's Top Rank contract?

The word was it finished this month (October) however there seems to be no news about it.

Could the Crawford vs Porter fight be Bud's PBC audition?

i.e. if he wins he gets a lucrative PBC contract that will set up many big fights including the Spence fight at last - if he loses or draws he doesn't get the PBC contract and he probably ends up with Eddie Hearn on DAZN.

Will Xander Zayas get a WBO title, like every top rank fighter is gifted after signing ?

The business is totally dirty, it has know rules. The only rule are in the ring . Even those only applies to the B side .

The A fighter has his own. And Dan thinks everyone is stupid… I boxed in the late 80s early 90s .

I have Ctes from boxing. Don’t t kid yourself boxing is terrible to your brain . I lost a good paying job as a surgical tech from Ctes

Enjoy that blood 🩸 money Dan.

Your original comment had nothing to do with the physical toll the sport takes on some fighters. I earn my money as a journalist. It is not blood money. I do an honest day's work.

Haha. Along the same lines, did ESPN pressure their staff to boost Top Rank fighters in the Pound for Pound rankings? I always felt their rankings were a bit slanted that way.

I was on the panel for years and I never was pressured and even if I was I wouldn't give a shit. Every single vote I made was my view period. Nothing to do with any promoter, network or an ESPN alliance.

Appreciate that. I was more thinking the rest of the panel some of whom I don't consider qualified to have a vote. I've followed you for decades and understand your credentials.
