Goddamn what a fight Marquez/Diaz 1 was. Will never forget those guys going toe to toe in the first round. Diaz showed his toughness and grit, but that shoe shining style was never going to get it done against an all timer like JMM.

Matias was excellent against Ponce - he showed great technique and toughness.

If I was Matias' manager I would try to make a unification with WBA 140lb champ Alberto Puello.

Puello is also a PBC fighter and so there's no promotional issues and if Matias won, which I think is very likely, having two of the 140lb world titles would probably be more likely to attract Prograis, the WBC champ.

I love to see fighters (Harrison in this instance) embrace not only the idea of being a road warrior, but also the idea of expanding their brand and creating new fans in different countries by bringing an entertaining style and personality. Good for Tony. Now, if the fight is good that’s all the better. Dan, who are some other fighters who were good at not only fighting away from home, but who used that time to increase their fan base and popularity?

Harrison is talking up the fight good for him. Zoo needs the time in the ring. Will he prevail ? I am hoping so, so he can fight at another level down the road, this is a good test for him this will cause him to have to adjust in the ring it is a decent enough fight. Harrison gets some light shown on himself and he could use that both will benifit from this bout in dif ways.

Bonner ? Who cares ?

Crawford next fight did not jump the needle one big for me. As is ofter the case with him and others but people will talk the fight up. Not PPV is it ? come on man no way.
