Always good to see unification matches and this should be a good one. Taylor's back to back wins over Hopkins reminds me of GGG-Canelo and Kovalev-Ward. The champ got screwed or there wouldn't have been a second match but when there was the champ lost in a not disputed fight.
Greetings Mr. Hissner, my name is Benito González García. I don't know if I have ever written to you before, I apologize if I did... Since you mentioned Mexican boxer Canelo Alvarez, may I ask you are you a fan of Canelo Alvarez and other Mexican boxers? If so, then may I ask you what is your nationality? I'm just curious thank you for your time...
I really didn't have an opinion of Canelo. I felt he was fortunate having ran the last 7 rounds to get a draw. GGG . The mistake of changing trainers and in the second fight boxing instead of boxing and punching like the first fight and lost about 7-5. GGG is my fav boxer today. I felt Canelo is getting too much credit for these fights and probably can't make 160 or else just doesn't want a third fight with GGG. I didn't think Canelo won a round against Mayweather, and I'm no Mayweather fan. Vicente Saldivar was one of my fav's from Mexico. I don't really know much about nationality's. I'm a born again white 77 year-old living near Ali's Deer Lake, PA, camp now called Fighters Heaven. I have met Duran and Arguello. Carlos Ortiz of PR/NY was my fav with Kid Gavilan of Cuba next. Met both. Canelo and Ramirez might be interesting.
Sir, you just made my entire day with your comments. As you may know Mexicans are extremely proud people (not for our corrupt government obviously) and because of this we absolutely love it when people from other countries and other ethnic backgrounds have any personal interest in our country, or in our people or in our culture. In your case with our Mexican boxers. It's a big honor for us.
This is why I'm asked you the questions in my previous comment to you.
It's been more than 30 years since I've watched the Patrick Ford vs Salvador Sanchez, it was a close fight, unfortunately there was never a rematch.
You've lived a very interesting life Mr. Hissner. How very fortunate to have met all those all-time legendary boxers.
Your country is no more corrupt than the Biden stolen presidency in the US. I tell people Biden is going to Hollywood to star in the remake of the movie "It Takes a Thief!"
Any doubters, if for "Undisputed" they ran 15 rounder, Bhop doesn't goes home a champ?

Sir, are you implying that you support Donald J Trump? If so, I'm really surprised, since it was Trump who racially stereotyped Mexicans.
I also thought Patrick Ford beat Salvatore Sanchez watching it at the home of Cus D'Amato along with the Hilton family of Montreal.
