Then we'll have to agree to disagree because imho there's nothing accurate or legitimate about them - the system is being used to provide stats with no checks on them at all.
My experience in checking them over the years is that they've never been anywhere near the stats given for the particular fight, although there may be examples that are approximately correct.
My experience was exactly what Thomas Hauser found and reported in his book "A Dangerous Journey".
This is a problem when these stats are being used and reported in the boxing media as if they provide a valid, and accurate, representation of the fight in question when it appears most of the time nothing could be further from the truth.
That said, even if there existed a system producing accurate stats they still wouldn't be better than a complete and accurate fight report.
Stiverne at 42 & coming off 2 KO's fighting for any type of belt (interim, vacant, secondary, whatever) is trash.
Hi Dan, Caleb Plant did not look anything impressive last night. Canelo is going to make easy work out of him
Don't like CompuBox stats Dan and can't understand why they're used so much.
Like Thomas Hauser, I've checked them many times now and, like Hauser, found them to be totally inaccurate.
They’re not totally inaccurate. They provide a legitimate guide to the activity level in a fight. I don’t live and die by them but they are useful.

Hi Dan! Love your newsfeed. Your are great at what you do.🤙
Thank you!
Does Fox have any say as to what fights they broadcast? These cards they're putting on are pathetic for national tv.
Very little say
