Got to say that I find yet another late withdrawal by JCM hard to believe.
If he does have some genuine medical problem then I apologise for my scepticism however he’s done it so many times now that I suspect he’s finding it very hard to make 112lbs - if so he should simply move up and stop messing opponents and ticket buying fans around.
It’ll be interesting to see what the WBC eventually say to justify yet another withdrawal - if only to laugh at the trash excuse they come up with 😁.
Can Zurdo please STFU about Bivol “ducking” him already? Running toward life-changing money to fight the most recognizable person in boxing is not the same thing as running from a guy who had to work hard to get past Jesse Hart.
Am I “worried?” No, not really. I don’t especially have a rooting interest with respect to either of these guys. If you’re asking me whether I think Ramirez is likely to knock out Bivol, my answer is also no. If Canelo couldn’t walk Bivol into big shots, I doubt Zurdo would have more success.
Yes, but just because they both are natural 175lbs, doesn't mean they have the same level of power. I'm as heavy as Mike Tyson, but Tyson has more power than I do. It's all about muscular shape of the body and natural punching power. Bivol couldn't even knock out the much smaller Canelo Álvarez.
Even if we assume for the sake of argument that Zurdo is considerably more powerful than Bivol (a point that I still think is debatable), that doesn’t necessarily portend a knockout. Bivol has a better amateur pedigree, more experience against top-level competition, and better skills than does Zurdo. The power gives Ramirez a puncher’s chance, a la Joe Smith.
I never debated that nor put that into question. My reasoning is, if a much smaller Canelo was able to go the distance versus Bivol, even win one or two rounds versus Bivol, Zurdo who won't back down from Bivol would be really be a dangerous fighter for Bivol. Because of his aggressive boxing style. But I agree stills pay the bills, but not always.
Are you saying they are doing the Ruiz card as a PPV ? Man the only good thing about that is sometimes Fox runs another fight-card a week before a PPV to get people interested maybe that card will be interesting but the PPV forget about it........Martiniz you are starting to look a little suspicious time to get in the ring and fight the man and stop the games .....
Pitbull is talented and fun to watch. But has he ever carried an entire card as the primary ticket seller? Because PBC is tryna to make him out as another one of their almighty “A Sides”. At least when it comes to their (lack of) negotiations with Ryan Garcia and GBP.

You forget Zurdo is a natural 175lbs just like Bivol, plus has power. They should fight and the winner gets Berteviev.
