Jeez Dan you've given us nothing on the compelling mix between Ruiz-Spong, Luis Ortiz gave us his views, LOL...this is embarassing for Andy's followers.
Very strange for Whyte to start being cooperative without receiving more money for the fight - I don't blame Whyte btw I think he was treated badly by the WBC.
I thought Whyte may have been given a percentage of the ppv money but more money is said not to be what's changed - the only other thing I can think of is that Arum gave him some guarantee for a subsequent fight.
The UK press are rather miffed that none of their questions about Daniel Kinahan were put to Tyson Fury, Frank Warren & Bob Arum during the zoom meeting that Dan describes above. They accuse the moderator who selected the questions of deliberately avoiding questions about the KOCG.
I think MTK Global should be investigated thoroughly as it's hard to believe that Daniel Kinahan would give up his position with them voluntarily back in 2017 when he has subsequently continued to seek power and influence in boxing. This should be part of a much larger investigation about how far the KOCG has infiltrated boxing including the WBC - if their involvement is as extensive as suspected, but nothing is done to eradicate their connections, then boxing could end up like it was in the 1950s under the mob.
