On principle, I am glad the IBF have ordered Canelo's mandatory. Presumably they lost patience with waiting for the WBC and WBA to call theirs. Canelo could turn this around quickly and still have a third fight later in the year.
I dont think canelo will ever fight him. He'll pay him off or vacate. Ryder was the wbo Mando but he was coming off some good wins including Jacobs. They still had to sell that fight as homecoming and put it in a stadium in Mexico. I can't see this fight generating enough interest to guarantee canelo his 30+ million.
