Time for Golovkin to retire. There is no worthwhile fight left for him. He should turn his talents to training some young up-and-coming fighter and promoting.
I think Golovkin could take a victory lap if he wanted to, but I think it makes sense for him to let those titles go rather than fight a fight which he has no interest in. Maybe if an interesting fight comes up soon for him.?? I wish his fights with Canelo had not sat on the back burner so long. The two of them in their absolute prime? Would’ve been (even more) amazing.
