Oh joy. More PBC PPV bullshit. 2 of these fights flat out stink for a PPV. Way to introduce yourself to the largest streaming platform audience blah blah blah.

Thurman is irrelevant, basically retired, and has never fought at the weight, but hey, let's not let that stop PBC from charging $80 for it and act like it's relevant.

And while the WBC making the Fundora-Bohachuk an interim title fight is more sanctioning body bandit bullshit, I do like the fight. Should be fun.

I hear ya but a couple of things -- it wont be 80 from what I'm told. 65 or 70. Just saying. Also, the real thing here is PBC and Amazon need to do a test run on their back end to make sure it works to buy an event. Amazon has never done this and they want to make sure they're ready for Canelo on May 4. Main event is ok but not a legit PPV headliner IMO. Rolly-Cruz will be fun. Lara-Zerafa is crapola. Fundora-Bohachuk could steal the show and is a very good fight whatever you think of the belt.

Couldn’t agree more. Only PBC could make me agree with a sanctioning body. What has Thurman done to deserve a title shot? I can think of five other fights I’d rather see Tszyu take. And why Cruz for Romero? Cruz KO6 Romero via uppercuts, setting up...Davis-Cruz rematch. No thanks. I’d rather see a rematch with Barroso or a fight with Ryan Garcia. The Fundora fight is good though. This is not a PPV card.

PPV? Come on, man. Who’s paying for this garbage? New platform, same bullshit. Looks like we’ll be sailing the high seas to watch this....

Interesting Amazon isn't gonna try to make a bigger splash for their first PPV. These are good fights, but hard to justify paying $70 for. At least make it a cheaper PPV like the Saudis did with the Wilder-Joshua might.

Seriously cards like this are what drives the illegal streaming market, this offering should be free or how bout $19.99. Why do they expect US to pay $70 so they can make sure THEIR platform is ready for Canelo vs another blown up MW in May?

The only reason I would watch is to see Pitbull !!!!

I am sorry that he had to be on such a terrible under card. !!!!

Good stuff Dan.

Tough position for PBC, but that’s boxing in 2024. It’s back to being an eat-what-you-kill business.

Good news for fans is, that’s how boxing grew to become a mainstream sport in the first place. With HBO gone, Showtime gone and ESPN sure to follow (in terms of paying promoters significant money for non-PPV cards), boxers will have to step up and fight real guys if they want to get paid. That’s good for the sport long term. It’s why UFC has become synonymous with fighting: They pit the best against the best.

Main event is a 155 pound catchweight fight pitting a 154 pound champ vs a 147 pounder that has fought once in like the last 5 years.

I dont think Cruz has ever fought at 140 and Rolly should honor his rematch.

Lara hasn't fought in 20 months, zerafa 16.

Very disappointing.

Might as well bring back the Hans Zimmer Fighter Walkout Muzak from PBC on NBC. Party like it’s 2015! I’m a fan of Tim Tszyu, but agreeing to fight a Semi Retired Blown Up Welter on PPV is shameful. BTW, the dim witted and feckless Ryan Garcia willingly being collateral damage is just hilarious.
