There was one huge fight on Saturday — Ryan Garcia’s huge upset of Devin Haney in the Golden Boy main event of its DAZN PPV card. There was a ton to discuss about the fight and delved in. We also discussed the undercard and news of the week. And, of course, we reflected on a trio of major fights on their anniversaries.
Here is what’s on the show (in order):
Recap of Garcia’s majority decision upset win over Haney, whom he knocked down three times in an exciting and dramatic battle, and the fallout.
Recap of the undercard, including the extremely questionable split decision junior welterweight contender Arnold Barboza Jr. received against Sean McComb; super middleweight Bektemir Melikuziev’s bloody technical decision over Pierre Dibombe; David Jimenez’s hard-fought decision over John “Scrappy” Ramirez for the vacant WBA interim junior bantamweight title; and more.

The announcement via social media that Gervonta Davis will defend his WBA lightweight title against Frank Martin on June 15 in the main event of a PBC Prime Video PPV at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and that David Benavidez and Oleksandr Gvozdyk will vie for the vacant WBC interim light heavyweight title in the co-feature.
My reporting that pound-for-pound king and unified welterweight champion Terence Crawford will move up to junior middleweight and challenge Israil Madrimov for his WBA title on Aug. 3.
Memories on the 23rd anniversary of when Hasim Rahman drilled Lennox Lewis in a massive upset (my best all-time pick) to win the heavyweight title on an early South African morning that threw the sport into chaos.
Memories on the 22nd anniversary of when Floyd Mayweather won the WBC lightweight title from Jose Luis Castillo in a massively close fight many thought he lost in the only real controversial decision of his career.
Memories on the 11th anniversary of when Canelo Alvarez outpointed Austin Trout to unify the WBC and WBA junior middleweight titles in a big fight that I missed at ringside for a damn good reason.
Please give it a listen! Also: rate, review, subscribe and enjoy!

I thought the other undercard was entertaining. Bud Crawford would be a fool to leave Welterweight now. Biggest and most makeable fights are there. PBC always giving Bud the Cold Shoulder anyways. And Madrimov is just more of the same bland opponents he fought at Top Rank. It's hilarious that PBC tried to steal the spotlight from Ryan, Devin, GBP with their Tank fight announcement. But stepped on their own dicks, cuz that got buried as an afterthought.
