So long as Fury vs Usyk happens in early 2023 i can forgive Fury not wanting to get rusty, after all I think its pretty clear its Joshua's side who didn't want to risk yet another loss for AJ if he was to fight Fury.

It is reported that there are 50,000 people in the queue on line for tickets. No matter what we post, as long as these events are a success commercially, they will continue.. Sanctioning body intervention may help but I dare say they will also benefit from this fight.

"Lamenting all of the name fighters who will have just one fight in 2022 and the lack of a major fight, at least at this point, in the fourth quarter of the year."

There was only ONE reason for this: money! These name fighters have too much, as Dana White said. Why get beaten and lose your "brand" if you don't need to? Why biff one's peers when one can biff easy beats for easy money?

Businesses don't want hard competition - or any competition at all.

If there are proper boxing TOURNAMENTS, not shows, then we will see proper biffs.

".....the fight nobody ever asked for". Not quite correct - Chisora was chasing Fury hard for that $2m payday. Contrast DC's action with ADJ's - Anthony Duckworth Joshua.

Just as well TF put his jab down or he would not be fighting this year with ADJ stringing him along - like he did Wilder 4 years ago.

(Ozzy, I searched youtube for Shelly Finkle and was astonished at the details that he revealed. Finky and DW were clearly pissed with all the wasted time and money over ADJ dodging them.)
