Plus: Recapping the awful Ajagba-Shaw and Vianello-Rice heavyweight bouts; Inoue vacates; the passing of Gerrie Coetzee and a BHop story on his birthday
The Lopez - Nova bout was interesting kept my attention on the undercard. The rest as has been repeated had no real redeamable boxing value. Not a value meal more like a barf bag on ESPN. They deserve the bad marks on that fight card main event. Oscar demanding something ...... glad you clarified how Golden Boy would not fold even if Garcia took a stroll down the street. Good way of telling the truth and not just letting those comments go with your side kick. Whatever anyone thinks of Oscar he has survived some ugly stuff and still is making some fights happen in spite of all his mis steps and demons and history. See what Showtime has to offer this weekend. Are there other cards I forgot to look anyhow check it later.
Has only one card I am aware of and I have it -- it's from Japan's World Boxing magazine set, part of a 4-card panel that came in every issue over a few years. If my memory serves, he is on the first panel that Ali is also on.
He is also in the Japan World Boxing set, which I have, and also has cards from the SP Program set and a card slightly larger than a traditional card that SP did as part of a set of lobby cards for one of the Taylor fights.
Great show Dan. LOVED the story of Hopkins and the cheesecake, after beating Pascal. Also, friendly reminder - whenever you have a chance to do our zoom chat, from my Founder's membership last year, let me know. Thanks Dan.
